Victim extricated from car after 2-vehicle accident Nov. 22

Forney Fire and Rescue extricated a victim from a car following a two-vehicle accident Nov. 22 at the intersection of Crestline Dr. and West Broad St.
Forney fire and rescue, Forney police, and Care- Flite Ambulance Service responded to the call shortly after 6:00 p. m.
According to the accident report, responders arriving at the scene found a 2-vehicle accident with a seriously-injured female trapped inside one of the vehicles on the passenger side. None of the vehicles were on fire. While fire/ rescue personnel worked to free the woman from one of the vehicles and get her stabilized for transport, CareFlite personnel treated the woman’s father and the driver of the other car for minor injuries and eventually took over medical treatment of the woman as well.
