 f you’re curious about Freemasonry but don’t know who to ask or even what to ask, an event at Brooklyn Lodge #386, AF&AM may be just what you’re waiting for.

 unday, Oct 23 is the date all Masonic lodges in Texas will be holding open houses. The lodge in Forney will hold theirs from 2:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m.

 veryone is invited.

 uring open house, members of the lodge will conduct tours of the building and explain what Masonry is and what it is not. You’ll be cordially welcomed into the lodge room, where you’ll sit in the seats Masons sit in when the lodge meets. The furnishings of the lodge room, which are symbolic to Masons, will be explained in terms non-Masons can understand.
