On Tuesday, August 18, Mansfield Lake Ridge defeated Forney High School in straight sets by a count of 25-17, 25-20 and 25-21. It should be noted that Lake Ridge was a 5A playoff team last season. With the loss, Forney falls to 3-4 overall on the season.
