School trustees welcome new board members

The Forney ISD Board of Trustees held their monthly June meeting June 8 beginning at 6:30 p. m. Board president Keith Bell called the meeting to order at approximately 6:30 p. m. with all trustees present except Heath Carroll. After the invocation, given by trustee David Walker, and the pledges to the flags, the first item of business was to recognize outgoing board member Heath Carroll. He was recognized by School Superintendent Suzie McWilliams for his years of service as a trustee. Carroll was unable to attend due to a work commitment in California.
