Zanata Restaurant exits downtown Forney location plans

FORNEY, TX—After many months of negotiations, the Zanata Restaurant Group has abandoned its plans to open a new location in Downtown Forney. The Italian-Mediterranean restaurant, with one location in Rockwall, was originally scheduled to open its newest location later this year, but has since backed out of its planned expansion. Financial, staffing and timing issues all played a role in the cancellation of the Zanata project.
