2015 County spelling bee goes 25 rounds

Representatives of school districts throughout Kaufman County met Thursday, Feb. 12 at the FISD board room to represent Kaufman County in competing for the annual Dallas Morning News Regional Bee on March 21. Criswell Elementary principal Teresa Hale was in charge of the spelling bee. The pronouncer was Kathy Green. Judges were Katie Wilson, assistant principal at Johnson Elementary; leading judge Everell Eckeberger, retired teacher, Forney ISD; and Mary Shelton,FISD instructional facilitator for language arts.
