Last weekend, alumni of Booker T. Washington School held their 16th biannual reunion. Activities began Friday with registration of local and out-of-town guests, a social hour, and a parade of hats. Saturday’s reunion highlight was the bi-annual Booker T. Washington Ex Student Association parade. The parade began at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on E. Aimee St., wound through parts of downtown, and then proceeded back to the parade’s point of origin at the church. A business meeting of the ex student association came later in the day.
