A TRIBUTE TO PASTORS and PREACHERS
Pastors and preachers are similar to athletes. They start when they are first saved to learn in church, Sunday school classes, and from some elders who have been Christians for a long time. When they finish high school, and are ready for college, the usually go to a seminary for their higher education. They study, go through the Bible, and try to learn it from front to back. Finally, they are learned, honed, polished, and prayed up. Then comes time to put all that learning into practice. They spend a week studying, praying, and searching the word for a message pleasing to GOD. GOD gives them the theme and plan for the message, and they begin to search the scriptures for the right words for the sermon. After many “accepts” and “rejects”, and much prayer, the sermon is complete and ready to present to the congregation.
