Layden’s Ridge Drive project delayed; expanded project planned

A proposed project to reconstruct Layden’s Ridge Drive has been delayed due to Talty receiving a single, unacceptable bid. Though a temporary setback, the delay in the first phase presents the opportunity to combine phases into a single, expanded project renovating most or all streets. Doing so may have the added benefit of attracting more bids from contractors meeting the stated requirements.
