This Saturday, I plan to wear blue as a gesture of thanks to Forney police for the work they do to protect me and you. I hope you will do the same. Last week, five law enforcement officers lost their lives for merely doing their jobs. They were the target of a deranged man—in every respect a terrorist—who had chosen hate over understanding and had decided that the police were his enemy.
