Daddy’s Little Girl

My father is in the hospital again. This time it’s pneumonia. It’s always something. Pretty soon it will be “the thing” and that will be the end. I’m a nine-hour drive away. By plane it’s about four hours when you consider the time it takes to get to and from the airports. Either way, by the time I get the call, it will probably be too late.
