Council approves ball field renovations at Mulberry Park

At Tuesday night’s City Council meeting, Council members heard a presentation by Richard Curry, Director of Parks and Recreation. Curry explained the request concerning the contract to extend skinned infields at Mulberry Park for Fields 2 and 4. Curry said that Parks and Recreation had received three bids but that one had dropped out. He recommended to the City Council that they approve Metro Lawn Care because they were the low bidder and they could complete the job within three weeks.
